The new Consumer Duty: key changes you need to make now
Webinar: 10am on Thursday 22 September (45 minutes)
The FCA has now published the final rules relating to the new Consumer Duty. They mean advice firms will have to implement major changes to how they operate and deal with clients on an ongoing basis.
The Code applies to all new and existing products and services from 31 July 2023. However, the regulator expects all firms to have a plan in place by the end of October 2022. These deadlines are extremely challenging given the ramifications of this regulatory directive.
Fidelity Adviser Solutions would like to invite you to their webinar where Head of Distribution, Paul Richards will be joined by Chris Davies of award-winning RegTech provider Model Office and Alex Whitson of VouchedFor, the UK’s largest review platform for financial advisers.
They will examine:
- Why the FCA is introducing a new consumer duty of care.
- The key requirements of the Consumer Duty.
- What firms need to be considering and what is required and by when.
- How firms can evidence they are adhering to the Duty.
- What support is available to firms.
